StayontheGO to Host 5th Annual Black 40 Under 40 Awards

Nashville, Tennessee – StayontheGO has announced its 5th Annual Nashville Black 40 under 40 event to take place Sunday, December 6th at the Bellshire Center. The awards were created to honor 40 of Nashville’s best and brightest African Americans who are making significant contributions to the Nashville and Middle Tennessee Community and has grown to become Black Nashville’s premiere social event.

Over 300 nominations were taken over a 6 month period from the public and past 40 under 40 award recipients, from those nominations an independent panel of judges selected 40 award winners. Each winner will be honored at the 2020 Black 40 under 40 awards.

Notable award recipients include, the honorable Judge Rachel Bell, Councilman Lonell Matthews, Lionel Greene, Ashford Hughes, Ladonna Boyd and a host of others.

The event will be hosted by Brookly Tankard & event founder Shawn Crawford. “2020 has been a crazy year, we wanted to make sure we still had the event to celebrate those individuals who still found a way to make the best out of it and end the year off on a positive note.” Said Event Founder Shawn Crawford.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 the day of the event. The event will feature a D.J. and live music. Light hors d’oeuvres will also be provided as well as a cash bar.
