Community Update: COVID-19 Community Assessment Centers Remain Closed Tuesday Due to Frigid Temperatures

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 12, 2021) – The Davidson County COVID-19 Community Assessment Centers operated by Meharry Medical College will be remain closed on Tuesday January 12, 2021 due to cold weather forecast by the National Weather Service (NWS).

Previous weather forecast predict temperatures would warm enough by 11:00 am to safely open centers. Due to the cold temperatures the centers will remain closed for the protection of the public, healthcare professionals and volunteers at the outdoor assessment centers.

Nashville Public Health will offer free COVID-19 Testing at a mobile testing site at:

All three Community Assessment Centers will operate on delayed hours for the remainder of the week.

Community Assessment Centers will operate on the following schedule:

Tuesday (01/12/2021)       ** All Centers Closed**

Wednesday (01/13/2021)                11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Thursday (01/14/2021)     9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Friday (1/15/2021)             9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Important Note: These operational times for the COVID-19 Community Assessment Centers are subject to change depending on weather conditions.

Testing is free to the public at all community assessment centers operated by Meharry Medical College.
