Tennessee State University’s (TSU) Homecoming is more than a weekend, it’s what many call “Nashville’s Black Holiday.” For alumni, locals, and transplants alike, the celebration transforms the city into one massive block party of culture, connection, and Big Blue pride.

Big Blue Tips
- Buy early: Ticketed events sell out fast.
- Hydrate & eat: Day parties and late nights hit harder if you don’t.
- Plan rideshares early: Downtown + Jefferson Street traffic = chaos.
- Respect the vibe: Homecoming is about connection and Black joy — keep the energy positive.
