Southside Community Church’s Members Inspire Outreach Ministry

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Southside Community Church has relaunched its Outreach Ministry with a new name: T & T Outreach. According to the church, the name was inspired by the love of God that was displayed through the lives of two of Southside’s members, Tabatha McLaughin and LaTasha Williams. The outreach is offering faith, food, love, and clothing for the community.

Before their passing away both Tabatha and Tasha dedicated their hearts, time, and energy to serving God’s people through their own community outreach. Not only were Tabitha and Tasha known for preparing meals in the church’s kitchen, they both went out of their way on a daily basis to ensure that other people truly felt God’s love through their acts of service.

Tabitha and Tasha are now an inspiration, as the church continues their legacy by serving those in need. Every Saturday Southside Community Church will host a Service each week at 9:00 AM, providing breakfast, a word of encouragement from the Lord, and an opportunity to “shop” in their free clothing boutique.

T & T Outreach is now accepting donations of new and gently used clothing, shoes, new undergarments, new socks, and any other accessories to give away to those in need. If you would like to make a donation, visit Southside Community Chuch at 901 Acklen Ave, Nashville TN 37203 on any of the following days:

Wednesday: 5-7 PM

Friday: 1-4 PM
